Type FV for Horizontal Pipe Run
The Type FV for Horizontal Pipe Run is typically used in pumps, flow meters, compressors, and control valve protection. We keep a stock of sizes 2” through 12” to equip a variety of machines. These strainers have a low-pressure drop, a high capacity basket, and a wide range of basket choices.
Type FT for Horizontal or Vertical Pipe Runs
The Type FT for Horizontal or Vertical Pipe Runs are ideal for either application. This is a specialty pipe link basket that allows for the inlet and/or outlet nozzle elevation to be modified. They are typically used in pumps, flower meters, control valve protection, areas where ground clearance is an issue, or arrangements where piping and equipment have differing elevations.
Type FH for Horizontal Pipe Run
The Type FH for Horizontal Pipe Run is much like the Type FV, it just features a different design. It can also be used for pumps, flow meters, compressors, and control valve protection. We also have large line sizes and custom designs available if the pre-determined sizes don’t suit the machine.
Our Tee Strainers can be utilized in many of the same applications like pumps, gas regulators, and compressors, as well as filter banks, HVACs, various types of water service, boiler feed water, and industrial piping systems. For a relatively clean product service, a blowdown is sometimes required for basket cleaning.
The Fabricated Y Strainers are very similar to our Tee Strainers, they are just a different shape. They can be used in the same applications but will work on different styles of machines.
