Our cone strainers are typically used for any liquid or gas equipment. These strainers come in standard lengths and they can even be used in some permanent applications. Our OD cones are designed to fit inside flange bolt-hole circles and the ID is designed to fit inside a standard-weight pipe. Cross bracing can be installed in these strainers to help prevent collapsing and our cone strainers can also be inverted to obtain a higher percentage of open area in a tight piping situation.
For applications that won’t hold a cone strainer, we also have truncated basket strainers for other equipment. These strainers can be used in any liquid or gas equipment or piping systems and the standard lengths are designed to fit in shorter spaces than typical cone strainers. Much like cone strainers, cross bracing can also be installed in the truncated strainers, and they can also be converted to obtain more open area. Our truncated strainers can also be used in some permanent applications and you can find the best choice for your job site.
