Type FV

This strainer is typically used for pumps, flow meters, compressors, and control valve protection. With a slope-top basket and carbon steel and stainless steel composition, it can withstand even the toughest conditions. This basket-style strainer features several advantages like a low pressure drop, a high capacity basket, and it is maintenance friendly.
Type FT
For a more flexible solution, this Type FT basket-style strainer is ideal for both horizontal and vertical pipe runs. Whether your machine runs horizontally or vertically, this style of strainer will be able to accommodate either direction. This strainer includes a V-shaped basket, and it is also made of carbon steel and stainless steel to ensure a durable piece of equipment. These specialty strainers and baskets also allow for the inlet and outlet nozzle to be modified as needed.
Type FH
Another style of a horizontal basket-style strainer, the Type FH strainer, is ideal for pumps, flow meters, compressors, and control valve protection. The different between this strainer and the Type FV strainer is the shape of the basket. While the Type FV has a slope-top, the Type FH has a cylinder-shaped basket so they can be used in different applications. These basket-style strainers are used for 4” or larger line sizes so they can implemented with several different machines.
