Type FV for Horizontal Pipe Run
Our Type FV for Horizontal Pipe Run strainer can be used in several applications and has several advantages. This strainer can be used in pumps, flow meters, compressors, and control valve protection applications and it has a low pressure drop and a high capacity basket that makes it maintenance friendly. We stock 2” through 12” sizes up so you can order the best solution for your equipment. We also offer larger line sizes and custom designs so we can manufacture the strainer to your exact specifications.
Type FT for Horizontal or Vertical Pipe Runs
Our Type FT strainer is much like our Type FV except it can be used in both horizontal and vertical pipe runs. This strainer can also be used in pumps, flow meters, control valve protections, as well as areas where ground clearance is an issue and arrangements where piping and equipment have differing elevations. This strainer allows a little bit more flexibility and can be utilized in several applications. There are also several advantages, including ease of maintenance, with this strainer that will allow you to easily use the strainer and ensure your jobsite runs smoothly and safely.
Type FH for Horizontal Pipe Run
Our Type FH strainers have several of the same applications and advantages of our Type FV strainers, but there are a few unique specifications. This strainer’s standard design is based on ASME B31.4 but we have other design codes available and we have many quick opening closure options available, as well. Larger line sizes and custom designs are available for this strainer so you can find the best solution for your equipment.
Our Tee Strainers can be used in the aforementioned applications, but it can also be used in a variety of other scenarios. It can be used in gas regulators, compressors, filter banks, HVAC, various types of water service, boiler feed water, and even industrial piping systems. This strainer is versatile and you will be able to use it in several types of equipment.
The Fabricated Y Strainers are much like our Tee Strainers, but the Y shape serves a different purpose. The can be used in many of the same applications, it can just fit into different types of equipment than the Tee Strainers.
